Nvidia Tegra 4 will arrive in July

NVIDIA has presented his new “Nvidia Tegra 4” at CES in Las Vegas, which is ended the last month. But it seems that no one products with this chip could see the light, at least before July, the month in which NVIDIA will begin to ship in bulk processors to the various manufacturers.

The news is coming from Jen-Hsun Huang, Nvidia CEO and founder.

These are the words of Jensen:

We ship Nvidia Tegra 4 starting in Q2 [of fiscal 2014]. We are ramping production now and we will have full production release. [The second quarter] is when we ship to customers. Q2 is also when we ship the Tegra 4 based Shield device…Although it is in the latter part of Q2, it is going to be in Q2

Cominceremo a spedire Tegra 4 nel secondo trimestre. Stiamo aumentando la produzione e avremo un rilascio a piena produzione. [Il secondo trimestre] è quando spediremo ai clienti. Il secondo trimestre è anche quando spediremo il dispoitivo Shield con Tegra 4. Anche se sarà nell’ultima parte del trimestre, sarà nel secondo trimestre.

The first products can arrive in August or so,  in our opinion , more realistically, in September.
A long wait, then, for one of the most powerful processors and revolutionaries of 2013 and all the innovations that brings.
